Hello Second Grade Families,
       Hi and welcome to second grade at Goshen Elementary! I would like to tell you a little bit about myself.
       First and foremost, I am passionate about education and teaching children with the goal of helping them reach their full potential. I know we must work together as a team to accomplish this, so please never hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. I also look forward to providing several opportunities for parent involvement in our classroom once the students and I establish our daily routine.
       I currently live in Wood River, Illinois with my husband: Leighton, sons: Renly and Niall, and dog: Chase. I graduated from Alton High School in 2008 and Greenville College in 2011. I was a teacher’s assistant in East Alton, Illinois for one semester. Now, I am honored to be teaching for my ninth year at  Goshen Elementary in District 7! I have taught first grade for 8 years and will now be starting my first year teaching second grade.  I am excited to be a member of the talented teaching staff at Goshen Elementary. I know this year is going to be a wonderful year in second grade, and I feel honored to be your child’s teacher.
